.
In this photo I think Lyndon wade has used Rembrandt lighting, I
think this because there is a lot of light being shone onto the top right side
of her head and not much on the left, although still enough light on the left
to capture the detail and bring out the colouring in the hair. I think he has
done this to create contrast between the two sides and made the hair parting the
main focus.
In this photo Sarah Cheng-De Winne has positioned the fill light
on the right of the model at a low angle shinning upwards onto the models face
creating a lot of light exposure on the right side of the face, the over
exposure of the light creates a shine on the models lips which draws the viewer
to that sport straight away. On the left hand side of the face light the photo
above there is a contrast to the right but still enough light to show detail.
In
this photo Lyndon wade has used back lighting; you can see this because there
is a lot of light coming from behind the model making the darkness and size of
the hair stand out. I think there is also two lights shining on the front of
his face, the main light shining on the left side of his face, I think this
because there is a slight shadow behind the nose, I also think there is a soft
box shinning on the right of his face to bring out his details.
In
this photo Lori Vrba has placed the main light at a high angle facing down on
the model by doing this it is creating a lot of light exposure on the left side
of the face, unlike the other photos the dark side of the face usually if hit
with light to show detail but this time I don't think there is another light
which intensifies the contrast.
